A range of adhesives developed specifically to improve the long term durability of plastic doors has been introduced by Apollo Adhesives. The company has been working with UK door manufacturers for the past couple of years to develop the adhesives, which are now available under the StressFree label.
The StressFree series are moisture-curing solvent-free polyurethane adhesives intended to increase the flexibility of the door panels, and so increase the life span of the doors.
StressFree is applied in exactly the same way as previous adhesives, so needs no change in machinery and production methods.
