Apollo Adhesives based in Tamworth has developed a new machine for applying polyurethane adhesives in the manufacture of door panels.

This new system named the Rotahead consists of a single nozzle applicator, which is rotated at high speed.

This rotation action causes the adhesive to be dispersed over a wide area through centrifugal force.

By doing this it combines the best feature of beading and spraying whlst having the disadvantages of neither.
